DrDoug said:Great review, and just when I needed it in making up my mind on what LCD to get!!! This is my first LCD purchase, and this is to replace my 21" Sony CPD-G500 (CRT). I use this system for video editing (Matrox RT.X100 Extreme Pro NLE setup) and gaming, and I wanted as good as I could afford (which ain't much...lol). As my system is running a 9800XT-256m (440/750) with the Omega drivers, I should have no probs (Famous last words...).
Thanks for taking the time to post the pics and your thoughts on this!
BTW, do you have stock in Viewsonic...?
I ordered mine last night from Datavision for $449.00 + $29.75 (UPS ground ship). Plus I downloaded a $100.00 rebate form for it if you purchase it from Datavision. So for $378.75 total (after rebate), it looks like a rockin' deal!
The rebate expires on April 5th, not March 18th as it says on the Datavision site...

What is your opinion of the Viewsonic vs. the Dell 2005 you owned? Better? Worse? What's the biggest difference?
thanks.
