Hi what would be an upgrade from a AMD 5770 card? My son bought this game homefront and in multi-player it drops down to 6-10 FPS. He wanted to buy a GTX 550ti 1 gig ,but I read somewhere that the GTX 460 was actually faster. We only have one monitor Asus 1680 x 1050 What would be a decent upgrade?

Specs of PC are CPU Q9400 @ 2.66, 4 gig of DDR2 ram OS is vista soon to be Win 7, and WD 500GB HD.

Don't think the 460 is going to be a significant upgrade over a 5770, would it? Or at least not at the price. Best bang for the buck in the $150 range would be the 6850. Haven't seen any benchmarks in Homefront, so I can't say for sure which card would best for that specific game.

And you might want to OC that q9400!
