Video Card Bottleneck?

So basically these are my specs two days ago:

Intel P4 3.0
1GB RAM
x1300 XGE video card

Now it is:

Intel E5200
2GB PC800 Ram
x1300 XGE Video Card

So basically I want to see if my x1300 XGE is bottlenecking my computer. I used to ping 30-60FPS on my first setup and now with the better setup (dual core, extra and faster RAM) I'm getting only 20-60FPS. No difference, maybe worst.

Any help would be great!
Thanks

Im confused. I thought ping had to do with internet connection.

anyway yes your x1300 is painfully slow for modern games.

Yes you have a huge bottleneck with that GPU, not only was that the lowest GPU of the R500 series, it's over 3 years old. There is no way it could possibly keep up in almost any modern games. First off what kind of games are you playing?

The card is pretty weak. Just wait a few days for the AMD videocard price drop for the 4870, for a change for the better.

Thanks guys, I'm going to get a 8800GT.

I played on 800x600 on low settings for both scenarios.

I play on 800x600 all the time. (Its not bad?)

My monitor can go up to 1440x900

so you are playing games at 800x600 on a widescreen monitor? not only would the low non native res look like poo it will also be stretched. if thats the only way I could game then I would find another hobby.

Yeah, I think the last time I played a game at 800x600 on low settings was Quake...

First off I wouldn't recommend buying the 8800GT unless you are getting a really good deal for a used one since it is a somewhat older card and you would get a much better value buying the new HD4850.
