Using FRAPS, even with a second hard drive to record to, and even with setting affinity, drastically reduces my FPS.

So, my thought is to use 'duplicate' on my gaming PC, and then use a second PC with dvi or hdmi or *gasp* d-sub input. ..

However, I don't know what do get. Most TV tuners don't have that. Didn't AMD have video cards with input here a while back?

What's my cheapest option? A little more if it's also a video card.

Oh and AMD/ATI no longer makes video cards with TV recording capability AFAIK.

Anyway, the most common way to lower the dramatic hit to performance is to simply record at a lower resolution.
 
Duplicate, as in tell my PC I'm using 2 monitors and to Clone them, so I can use one of those outputs to send it to the recorder via hdmi.
