Has anyone had any experience with VGA Tuner boxes?

i have an 19" BenQ FP931 that i replaced with a 2005FPW and i was thinking of purchasing a VGA Box to sortof convert it into an LCD TV..

something like this viewsonic N6 http://www.viewsonic.com/products/tventertainment/tvvideoprocessors/nextvisionn6/index.htm

what i am looking for is something that generates a good picture quality that also has component inputs for say a DVD or the XBox

i haven't been able to read many reviews or anything concerning VGA Tuner boxes, some things i've heard about cheap products like the Kworld are the grainy pictures etc..

if its possible i'd like to get something that generates a very good crisp clean picture on an LCD over the component , not necissarily over the CATV, as some graininess on lower quality signal would be acceptable..

i guess in the end its the ability to scale the TV signal upto the 1280x1024 native res of the FP931 without much image loss..
