verizon and iphone 4

So let me get this straight.... there are some new faster phones coming out. These new phones may have 4G and Dual core processors. So we should all wait and see if an iPhone 5 comes out? we should regret buying something that works? we should just hold out until the next best thing comes out?

When does it stop? When is it "safe" to buy something? they way all you talk, we should never buy anything because there is always something "better" coming down the technology avenue. Why is it so bad to buy something right now? Why is it so bad and why do you guys think people who bought the iphone are stupid? Is it so incomprehensible that there are people out there that just want a verizon iphone? that people don't need the absolute latest and greatest? sure wait 5 - 6 months for an iphone5 but hey why not wait another 12 months and get the iphone5G? or another 18 months and get the iphone 5GS... when does it stop?

Heck I still run a quad core processor with only 4GB ram on my PC... guess maybe I am a loser? Oh and I am stupid too, because I purchased an iphone 4 from verizon 3 minutes after midnight.

I don't think I will need to buy another phone for at least two to three years, maybe then I will have a desire for the 10 core processors they are sure to have, but until then I will just have to live in hillbilly tech land way behind all the elitists who play the what if waiting game while crapping on people who aren't afraid to get off the never ending upgrade track.

There is always better technology coming out next year, that is the way the business works, and is good,. or you wouldn't even have your iPhone4. Saying all of that, there are smart times to upgrade and dumb times. Right now your an idiot if you buy an iPhone4, because in just 3 short months the next generation will be out. I would rather be stuck in a 2yr contract on the iPhone5, so that in 2013 I an get the iPhone7, but if you buy the iPhone4 now in 2011 your stuck on it almost the same amount of time.

If a product has a 12 month cycle, I think the time to wait and not upgrade is when you the new version is just a few months out. 6 months out, sure go for it, it is still rather fresh, but 9 months after it's been out, no way, if you have waited that long, what is another 3 months.
