Hi, i cant seem to figure out how to use 4 monitors with my PC, im using a ASUS GeForce GTX 780 3GB on a MSI Z87-GD65 Gaming motherboard using a i7 4770k processor.

I have three monitors in front of me working just fine, but i have a 4th much bigger monitor i want to use with these simultaneously, can this be done?'

All help would be appreciated :)

Plug it in and find out. You will have to do some rearranging in the nvidia control panel as far as monitor placement goes.

....what have you tried that is failing and what happens?

Not knowing the resolution or connectivity of the displays makes this question somewhat more difficult to answer than it would be otherwise.

Can you tell us what displays you're plugging in (Make, Model), the resolutions and refresh rates involved, and the cabling you're attempting to use?

:)

Are you trying to do just 4 monitors, or a 3 panel NV Surround array with an accessory monitor?

If so, you probably need the first 3 on DVI+DVI+DP, and your TV (I assume) on the HDMI out.

I was under the impression you're driver limited to three displays at once with Nvidia consumer cards now and only get support for more than three if the drivers detect a workstation class card.

Nah, it just depends on the card's capabities :) I have 4 monitors hooked up right now to the system in sig.

*To clarify, I have all 4 displays connected to the 780. The 750 is just for PhysX stuff.

If my memory serves me correctly NVIDIA supports 3 displays + an accessory display via HDMI as was said above. So you will need your 3 main monitors plugged in via the DisplayPort + DVI ports, and then plug the fourth display in via HDMI. I'm not sure what other restrictions might apply, but that should get them up and running. Anything more than that will require multiple cards.

Multi-monitor gaming, or multi-monitor programming / web surfing / trading? Res of each screen?
