USB Video Card

The DL-195 is outdated. It's been replaced by the USB 3.0 models with improved compresion:

They're more expensive, but you actually get the high-quality video they promised (but didn't deliver) with the USB 2 product. See this review:

The better compression means you get near-clear video on USB 2, and completely clear video on USB 3. And hey, it's dual-output as well, so that's another bonus!

Thank you for the advice. I will be getting that Targus adapter.

I am pretty sure my laptop is USB-2.0 so I might not reap the benefits of the USB 3.0 connectivity.

Even without the extra bandwidth you still get the benefits of the better video compression. The new hardware can handle higher quality codecs.

From the reviews I've read it should be near-perfect on USB 2, with a little room for improvement once you move to USB 3.
