USB Audio crackling

I have crackling over USB audio devices on a Dell T5500 this happens with both my Corsair V2000 and Fiio USB DAC/AMP, I've tried updating all of the drivers including chipset drivers and nothing has worked yet.

Win 7 x64, any input ? this is driving me bananaaaas

Probably the PSU. Or your case has issues with grounding.

Put a ferrite core on the USB cable

Is it only when you adjust the volume, or all the time?

it's all of the time(not just when adusting volume)

it happens on and off, it seems to be better if I reduce the setting from "48khz" to "44.1Khz" in audio properties , and more so when there is heavy network traffic (transferring large files between VMs).

PSU then. Either that or the case isn't grounded properly. Try the ferrite core.

You are hearing the EMI. Especially when things get busy. Higher the power flowing, the louder the noise.
