I have two APC units, an older ES 650 that just emits a long continuous beep so I guess it's been overloaded/fried, and a CS 500, before I knew the ES 650 was fried I bought a replacement battery for it, will that battery work in the cs 500...? they are the same size, but list two different model numbers for the batteries, RBC17 (which I have for the fried ES 650) and RBC2 for the cs 500, so again, they are the same size, can I use the RBC17 in the cs 500...? or do I need to order another battery (RBC2) for that one as well...?
 
Sometimes different battery pack numbers use the same type of battery but with different tab size (e.g. F1 or F2 tabs). Keep that in mind and know what you need.
