right and i saw that but im concerned about 40gb of space. my budget on a ssd has to be set at 200 or under. is the PQI any good?

is the PQI any good?

Not really. The PQI doesn't have TRIM support which means that it has a shorter lifespan as well as performance degradation over time.

Not sure about the Super Talent SSD though. I think it's Idinilix based and has TRIM support but don't quote me on that.

Oh and no need to upgrade your CPU. The X3 720 is still plenty fast for a HD 5850. Upgrade your mobo is you want better overclocking performance.

Your mobo supports core unlocking, any luck with that? If not selling the X3 720 and going for a X4 955 wouldn't be a bad upgrade. I do agree as previously mentioned though that the X3 720 will run the 5850 fine. Just something to consider.

I'm not well versed with SSD drives so no comment there. Do post as to what you decide on. :)

i havent overclocked yet, i just got the rig up and running. plan to overclock in the am :)

could use alittle help here. sometimes when i go to power up my Rig from a cold boot i wont have any display. i gotta turn off the PC by holding the power button then turn it back on and it works.

im not sure if this is caused by the 10.1 drivers bad video card or bad mobo and im not sure where to start.
