Im upgradeing from my amd xp 3200 barton computer. I'm currently building a small form factor computer and im haveing trouble chooseing which processor to go with either a x6800 or something lower I can overclock. Current specs for the computer are in my signature. If I do go with a lower processor I can get 2gb of memory, western digital raptor hd or a Razer Barracuda AC-1 sound card. All im going to use this computer for is gameing so any help would be great on what the best processor to go with would be.

these are what i have so far picked ouf for the computer.

Lian Li PC-V300B ordered
Abit IT-90HD ordered
Zalman CNPS7700-CU ordered.
X2 550W PSU - Titanium ordered
2gb ddr2 have yet to pick a brand was thinking corsair dominator series
120gb sata hd have

This computer is going to be mainly used to play world of warcraft. But I dont mind spending the extra buck so I wont have to upgrade the processor for a while.

No point wasting money for a X6800. A E6600 is a better choice and you can overclock a bit to surpass the X6800 easily. The board can go up to 350-370 FSB so you are looking at reaching 3.3 to 3.5 GHz in a mATX board.
