I've got no reaction when I hit the power button on my case. A Coolermaster Cosmos S. Had no problems just a few hours ago with my old hardware in it.

I put in a new motherboard (asus p755d), new ram (8gb mushkin), new cpu (i5 760), new gfx card (gtx 460).

The green boot led on the MB is on.

Tried setting the power_sw cable both ways.

There's no reaction when I hit the power button. Is there any way I can start the system with a improvised power button or something to rule out the actual button on the case?

Just jump the two power pins on the motherboard with a screwdriver.

You sure you plugged in all the power cables?

Oh and follow the stickied "Basic Troubleshooting Guide" on what to do when the PC does not POST.

Ok, for future reference, figured it out: That 3 pin cable on the ATX power cable, I guess it's the pwr_fan cable? It needed to be plugged in to a cable with the same colors coming from the Cooler Master Cosmos S case. Forgot about that. It's attached to a ATX power cable extender that comes with the case.

Now, how much can I clock this I5 on stock cooler? :D Hehe. It's not possible to use my Ultra 120 that I used on my socket 775 is it?
