Heya, considering how old is my setup (even though it handles things pretty well), does it worth throwing in a GTX 460 or there will be a huge bottleneck?

Maybe wait until i can get a i7 build? what do you think?
 
What PSU do you have?

Can you OC the CPU any higher?
 
It will be a huge upgrade from what you have even if it is CPU bottlenecked, but whether or not you are CPU bottlenecked will also depend largely on what games you play and at what resolution.

Seasonic 500w

Not really, im on air and temps get too hot, maximum i could get stable is around 3.2.

At 1920x1080, mainly WoW, but soon i will get AC2, Prince of Persia, Metro 2033...
 
Danny Bui will let you know if that psu is crap or not but your entire system with a gtx460 would not even pull 300 watts at the wall. surely that 80gb ssd isnt the only hd you are using though? your cpu will limit a gtx460 but not by too much. just dont expect a very cpu intensive game to get the framerates you see in gtx460 reviews.
 
Ok, the PSU should be enough for a GTX 460.

Yes that CPU will be a limitation but you'll still a substantial increase in performance over your current 9600GT.
 
Okay, always used XFX, but i see there are none for this one, so what brand to pick? Noise is pretty important for me (currently i have a thermalright hr-03, it's dead silent), unless it's fan is moderate, i'll end up putting a third party one, though there are none available yet?
 
eVGA is a good alternative to XFX. 3rd party fans aren't available IIRC for the GTX 460

Yeah, go eVGA w/ lifetime warranty so you are set if anything happens.
 
If I were you just go straight for the gtx 480. I had it, then went to a cheaper vid card--gtx 295. I like them both.
