I am running BOINC version 5.4.9 and noticed that there is a newer version. If I download the newer version will it automatically replace the older version, or will I have to remove the current version and then download the newer version?

Will it attach to the same project?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.:confused:

The download should automatically replace the orginail version on your machine. As long as the installation paths are kept at default.

It will just ask if it's ok to overwrite existing files........allow and you're good to go :)

My bad..........getting senile, I may have confused it with MJ12 update.
(note to self........too many projects).
