I haven't built a PC in quite sometime, and I have not been keeping up with hardware like I used to. Anyway, I need to upgrade from my current rig (which is in my sig.)

I guess I'll use the fancy template from the thread in this forum:

1) This will be a gaming PC.
2) I'd like to keep it under $500.
3) I'm in San Diego, CA
4) Looks like I'll need CPU/MOBO, and RAM. Not sure if I need PSU upgrade (using a 600W)
5) I'll be re-using everything except the CPU/MOBO and RAM.
6) I won't be OC'ing.
7) I run at 1920 x 1200.
8) Looking to buy this within a month.
9) I dont' need anything crazy fancy, don't plan to do crossfire/SLI at any point... I just want to play BF3 without raging at my framerate.

TL;DR? Need best CPU / MOBO and RAM combination, under $500.

$190 - Intel Core i5-2400 CPU
$123 - Gigabyte GA-Z68A-D3H-B3 Intel Z68 ATX Motherboard
$36 - Patriot Signature PSD38G1600K 2 x 4GB DDR3 1600 RAM
$65 - Antec NEO ECO 620C 620W PSU

Total: $414 shipped

I went with Amazon.com as much as possible as they do not charge CA residents tax. AS for why I included a new PSU:
Not sure if I need PSU upgrade (using a 600W)
Actually that particular PSU was only capable of 500W of safe operation. Even then the quality wasn't that good. If you've had it for longer than two years, you're better off just replacing that PSU before it starts killing PC parts.
