Upgrade advice

My current system:
Core 2 Duo E6600
Intel D975XBX2
4 GB DDR2 800
GeForce GTX 460 1 GB
250 GB WD Velociraptor
Antec EarthWatts EA650

My suggested upgrade:
Core i5-3570K
Intel DZ77GA-70K
8 GB DDR3 1600

I'm gonna keep my hard drive and get an SSD later.

I can get another GTX 460 1 GB on eBay for about $100. Would it be better to do that or sell mine and get a GTX 660 for ~$200 or a GTX 660 TI for $280? Or should I do something else entirely? I've had good luck with nVidia, but I'd try AMD again if their price/performance is that much better. Also, could my power supply handle GTX 460 SLI?

I will be gaming on a single monitor at 1920x1080. I might overclock in the future, but not immediately. Thanks!

That PSU will do 460 SLI problem, as long as it is still functioning correctly. I ran GTX 280 SLI on mine, and a 460 does not pull nearly the same amount of juice. That old motherboard of yours is great, btw. A 460 (768MB) TDP is 150 watts. A 460 (1024MB) is 160 watts. A 280 is 236W. So you should be more than fine. Mine was in a system with an I7-860 @ 4.0 and 4 ram slots populated. No issues other than it got really hot... lol Do you plan to overclock? EDIT - Forgot to mention, those TDP's came from here: http://www.geeks3d.com/20090618/graphics-cards-thermal-design-power-tdp-database/ It also mentions a 660TI has a TDP of 150. Also, a 660TI is faster, especially if you have 768MB 460's.

While your current PSU will be able to handle GTX 460 SLI just fine, I'd go with a new GPU altogether like the HD 7870. The HD 7870 costs around $240 to $260 but performs fairly close to the $275 to $300 GTX 660 TI as shown in this recent HardOCP review:
