I am getting the upgrade bug again.I've fought it for over a year now and would like to know if any one thinks I could see an improvement with an upgrade. My current system is 2 years old now.
1) Will be doing gaming,Skyrim,Warcraft,Old Republic and I do some photoshop work and some video editing with Vegas Pro10
2) Would like to stay around 1k
3) I live in midwest close to Chicago
4) Thinking of doing Motherboard,CPU,Video Card,Power Supply and memory.Going to keep other computer, left over parts for a back up for wife.
5) Reusing my 120gig SSD and Monitor,mouse/keyboard,power supply,WD HD and case
6) No overclocking
7) Currently using a HansG 22" 1680 x 1050
8) Like to start ordering parts in next week or two
9) Want to build something that will last a few years,so looking for some mid to higher end components
10)Currently have 3 win7 64 bit keys
Current system is as follows...
G.SKILL 8GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1000 (PC2 8000)
Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 Wolfdale 3.16GHz LGA 775
GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3R
XFX GX260NADDU GeForce GTX 260 896MB 448-bit GDDR3
G.SKILL Phoenix Series FM-25S2S-120GBP1 2.5" 120GB SATA II MLC Internal SSD
AZZA Solano 1000 Black SECC Steel/Metal mesh in front ATX Full Tower Computer Case I love this case!
CORSAIR Professional Series HX750 Modular Active PFC Power Supply
Older WD 320gig HD
G510 keyboard and MX518 optical mouse

This puts me right around 1k.Any opinions on whether or not this would be a worthwhile upgrade and will i be able to see an improvement?I am not a big OC fan,I don't have the need to squeeze out every single bit of power from my system. My car, yes,my computer, not so much
Thanks!
