Here is what I found so far...

CPU – Intel Core i3-2100 - $125
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...le-_-Processors+-+Desktops-_-Intel-_-19115078

Mobo - MSI P67A-GD65 - $180 – Is this overkill for me??
http://www.amazon.com/MSI-P67A-GD65-B3-Intel-Motherboards/dp/B004P3X4VU
or
MSI-P67A-C43 - $120 – This should be sufficient...right?

RAM – Crucial 8G DDR3 1333 - $82

SSD – Crucial RealSSD C300 - $250

Video - JATON VIDEO-338PCI-128TWIN - $70 – I don't know much about video cards...just want an 'el cheapo' for my old LCD screen, until I upgrade monitors, then I will upgrade videocard

I want a mobo that I can upgrade the CPU/RAM/videocard in the future and that is SSD compliant. Also future additions should include USB 3.0, eSATA, BluRay, more SSD/HDD SATA 6Gb/s

Show me some better options.
Do you suspect prices will drop in the near future?...should I wait?

What exactly do you mean by "Adobe"? Adobe has a ton of applications ya know.

Yeah don't go with that video card as it's not a good choice at all. The C43 motherboard is enough.

Also, don't ever plan on upgrading the CPU since all of the current Intel and AMD platforms have a relatively short CPU and socket support lifetime. No word of a price drop BTW.
