girlfriends tend to be cute/adorable/etc when it comes to PCs.... I've seen mine with a Qtip and alcohol cleaning my keys before.... "they were dusty and kinda dirty!" .... of course, last night, she asked if if our home was going to be heated by boxen.........

Well, I feel dumb. I cleaned my keyboard with nail polish remover. It didn't work out too well...

I completely disagree with this. My ex was a terror to my computer. After using my computer for the second time I banned her from every using it again. Both times she used it, the poor thing blew up within 12 hours. This was back in the PII/Celeron days and I didn't have any extra money for computer parts and they cost a lot more than they do now. I couldn't afford another CPU or motherboard so I never let her touch the computer again.
