For all you UD'ers out there, I just did some poking around the grid.org forums, and it appears that UD is down for now. http://forum.grid.org/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=18386

Word has it that they are closed until after the new year, so it could be a few days before its back up.

Fortunately, most of my machines are crunching the new super-huge Rosetta data and may actually span the downage.

I for one would like to request all the UD guys to switch to FAH to help us get to #1 on 1st Jan once their current WUs are done and waiting. :D

If I could, I would.

Of course, the UD guys could always install an instance of F@H set to timeless WUs... that way, the CPU is always working on something.... whether F@H went down... or whether UD is down.... Downtime = bad :D

Keep on Folding!! For the [H]orde!!

That would be a good idea, maybe with a backup of as many WU's that you can pull at once too, in case the net goes out as well :)

Please, do not request this again. There is a bit of bad blood over something like this from before and I would rather not see it happen again.

If UD people want to run F@H for a couple of days, leave it to them. Please do not ask it, even as a joke.

It seems that Grid has uploaded a small test run of cancer data which was set for limited passes. If you're running cancer units only and not accepting Rosetta units, you'll not receive any work until they upload more cancer data. If you're running both portions of the Grid.org project you should be receiving data just fine. http://forum.grid.org/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=18406
