Tweak town Conroe review

Always seems like there are some odd results in everybody's Conroe benchmarks...like why are the FEAR benchmarks so close at 640x480? Can't be GPU limited at that res.

They are Intel fans....you can tell by their language ;)

No matter what, like they say, it's cool to see more Conroe benchmarks, but seriously, who runs Cinebench? Conroe is always impressive, but their review didn't live up to all their hype on the first page :p

How is that Other than gaming Conroe was 30% faster than AMD . 15% faster in gaming .

How many would choose ATI over NV if it was 15% faster in gaming benchmarks?

You make it sound like its no big deal. That intel is now superior in gaming benchmarks when they always lagged before.

Conroe is a wonderful improvement over P4. I must confess tho . Nehalem really has me excited as it will probably be 40% faster than Conroe(Penryn) at the same clocks.

I'm pretty disappointed that they didn't bench some presler dual cores along with everything else.

They did . reread They have the same thread going in the AMD section . Its interesting that again Science Mark was again brought up. Donnie 27 said that this would become the most important bench mark in the world . LOL

meh I meant non EE, though hyperthreading is the only difference, isn't it? My post was like a huge paragraph and I deleted most of it because I was rambling.
