I am curious what everyones view is on the Tuniq Tower 120. Is it worth the money? Does it cool well? Let me know please. Thanks.
 
Did you search or look for reviews? I don't normally post that...but really, it's not that difficult in this case.

Short answers you're probably looking for: yes yes

It's not the best, but it's pretty good, go buy it. If you're not overclocking though, I wouldn't really bother.
 
the Tuniq is a good HSF, I use a Scythe Ninja Rev. B and my temps are great so you may also want to consider the ninja
 
Ambient temperatures affect core temp...
Overclocking affects temp...
Vcore affects temp..
Form factor affects temp...

L.o.D., how are you even comparing the two?:confused:

Not enough information...but seriously, if everyone going to post temps, that at least give enough information for a useful post.

vcore is just above 1.3.
Q6600@3GHz.
Form factor??
Room temp I would say is currently under 20cel.
 
Q6600 - B3 stepping (stock right now)
Abit I35 Pro
Antec P180B ; replaced all fans with yate loons (low speed ones)
Tuniq Tower (using stock fan at lowest setting)

I was previously with the old core temp getting an idle temp of 34C which matched up with the Abit uGuru tool. This seemed pretty low for a B3 stepping and I suspected the temps were probably about 10C higher.

With the new core temp, all four cores are 44-47C at idle which still isn't too bad, and seems quite a bit more accurate to me. My case is completely silent more or less which is what I was going for, but it does definitely heat up my office much quicker than my e6600 before it.

Just a seperate note.. I have central AC, but I also have a window unit in my office and I try to keep the room 74 to 78 degrees F.
