I did my first watercooling a few months ago and its in need of a bit of an update. I recently got a 2nd 5870 that needs to go under water, and my loop is kind of funky. Im wondering if the route of the loop really matters. Ive always heard you want radiators before your components that need cooled, because they will get the coldest water, which makes sense. But Im wondering how much if a difference it will make. here is my current loop
MCP655 in XPSC Dual bay reservoir --- MCR220 QP 2X120mm in push only -- Apogee XT -- MCR220 QP 2X120mm in push/pull -- MCW80 -- back to res/pump

This is what I am planning on doing. It will be a much more straightfoward route and im going to rotate the bottom rad 180degrees so its hoses will be towards the back of the case, not the front like it is now. The biggest issue is, my only rad in push/pull will be feeding the reservoir, instead of directly to a component

I posted this in the modding section on accident first and got a few replies there saying route really doesnt matter, is that the general consensus?
and im using this reservoir with a mcp655 inside, it seems as though this is going to be the worst part of my flow. Should i consider putting a T in the line somewhere and having a reservoir fill into the T. it seems as though that would help my flow rate substantially
 
Rad-->res-->component is practically the same as rad-->component in terms of heat.

Though I'd be curious where the pump fits in that scenario since it should always be something-->res-->pump-->something
 
The tempreture equalizes, so it doesn't matter. And yes, do the T thing if you can it removes the resevior blockage from the system.

I think I am going to reroute by just making it as straightforward as possible. And once I get enough posts to put my huge FS list up here and get rid of all the stuff I dont need I think im gonna lose the xpsc dual bay and just a res above a T line
