Hello all, I just made a purchase of which I am very content of. I got myself an Antec TruePower 430 PSU. The PC posts noticably faster from the power_ok signal being sent faster. Although, I've heard how good these PSUs are but I am curious as towards something with the voltages on my PSU. On the +12 line:
Read-out from MBM: Average = 11.30V
+3.3 = 3.25V
+5 = 3.26V

The stuff I have in the PC is:
Pentium 4, 2.8GHZ C stock
Gigabyte 8KNXP with DPS2 module which has it's own fan
1GB of Kingston HyperX RAM( PC3500 @ 200mhz)
160GB Maxtor Serial ATA drive, hooked up on the Serial ATA connector line
LiteOn CDRW
LiteOn DVD-ROM
Floppy Drive
ASUS 9800XT and a SoundBlaster Audigy 2
4 LED Fans hooked up by Molex connectors

Are these reading alright for what I have hooked up?
 
Don't worry about what voltages MBM is reporting. I have found it will be way off. In your case, if those were the actual voltages being put out by the power supply, your system would not even turn on. In other words, I'm sure you're just fine.

What MBM is usually good at is reading the fluctuations in the power. The highs and lows it spikes and dips to. If the voltages don't move much you are probably in good shape.

I have had much the same experiences with MBM 5. On one system it told me my +12V was reading - 0.04V. The only stuff it read correctly was vdimm and vcore and the -12V rail. Everything else was crap.
 
The best way to verifiy your powersupply would be with a voltmeter. Optionally, you could try checking your voltage in your bios, if that is an option.
 
Use a multimeter and you will be surprised as to how accurate the voltages actually are... And i'm pretty sure your computer would be fine running at those voltages (i assume the 5v line is reading your vBat). 11.3 isn't too horrible... 6% or so off..
 
I have the same psu, mbm says
+12 - 11.20
+5 - 4.97
+3 - 3.29
So I'm guessing mbm is wrong there, also, I had mbm tell me my cpu was 84 C :eek: :eek:
Must have been an error or something since everything is running fine
 
True 430 here too with
+5 = 5.1
+12= 11.7-11.8
+3=3.3
this according to Abit EQ and bios pretty much the same.
I've got just one hd,wd80,one cd-rw, floppy,5 80mm led fans,Audigy2,Ti4200.
 
Ditto on the TruePower430, specs in sig. MBM version is 5.3.6.0.

My +12V would always read anywhere from 11.2V to 11.4V. My multimeter says 12.04V under full load. MBM says 4.81V for the +5V rail. My multimeter says 5.05V. My 3.3V is pretty spot on though. The multimeter doesn't lie... it's easy to get a real reading.
