I just upgraded my motherboard to a Gigabyte GA-MA69GM-S2H, and I've been having some issues, to say the least. I was able to install windows last night, albeit with some difficulty booting up. After I get past the black boot screen (where it would hang for 20-30s), on the screen where it lists all devices and controllers, at the bottom I'd get "Verifying DMI Pool Data.........." followed by "K8NPT Data Change...Update to DMI!" and it would sit there for half a minute then "Boot from CD/DVD:" would come up, then finally "Press any key to startup XpressRecovery2." At this point Windows would start up, after about a minute, all told, and everything would be fine. This morning, however, after the "Boot from CD/DVD:" line, it's giving me "DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER," does this mean my shitty old HD has finally tanked, or is there some motherboard issue or feature that I might have overlooked? Thanks for the help.
