Yea checked the FAQ and i dont see a definition for trolling, or what the limits are?

I was amazed to post a topic about cost effectiveness and asking how consumers could justify a price point based on lower specs.In any company I.T department cost is always factored in when upgrading , but buying consumer electronics outta your pocket isnt. I really find it hard to believe my topic was marked for trolling yet, it a very valid point. It very obvious whoever flagged it hasnt done hardware upgrading budgets.Asking that information is invaluable as it could mean alot of money saved and or wasted.

I would really like a definition of what "trolling" is on hardforum, if it a policy open for interpretation, than at least understand the full question, opposed to stereotyping it.If that the case maybe it time to put some moderators out to pasture, maybe there views arent as objective since there first post to there latest one?

it sounds like a mac vs pc argument. there is no reasoned conversation on the subject, thus trolling
 
it was basically marked as trolling because we all know that discussion would just start an endless argument between people and then eventually a flame war between people that have money and people that dont have money..

or at least thats my educated guess.. lol
 
a little off topic but in the picture posted by firas does anyone notice the .50 BMG pointed right at the dudes face?! also arne't those red barrels explosive? Anyways trolling can be defined many different ways. i guess it is a case by case bases.
 
Trolling is the art of baiting (thus trolling as in fishing) someone else with the intent of provoking them into an argument. The Moderators decide what is and isn't trolling. Pretty simple solution. If you have a problem with a Moderator's ruling, contact an Admin.
 
When you start a thread in the Apple Products forum solely to diss the iPad, you are trolling.

When you send a PM to the admin who infracted you and tell them to "GTFO" you are really pushing your luck here.
