Update:

Shock Therapy sent me $50 2 weeks ago. However he still owes me $44.96. I've sent numerous emails/IMs 3 days ago to remind him to pay off the rest. I have not received a response from him lately. It looks like he's trying to avoid me so he can "buy" more time...
 
Wow dude when I bought an Xbox 360 from him, I noticed that you had the same problem. That was like September, its now January.
 
I'd definitely pay this deadbeat a visit. I'm sure you can find $50 worth of something at his house....

So a user PM'ed me and wanted to know if there was any updates/progress going on.

I recieved a response from him on Jan 27. Here's the mature response I got from him:

I dont know how many times I have told you I only get paid at the first of the month. Chill out and you will get it soon.

You call sending one email and 2 IMs, harassment? And you also call this a threat "**Reminder: You still owe me $44.96, Send payment asap!**" Think again. And you know whats annoying? Someone who waits nearly 7 months to send a complete refund. How would you feel if you had to wait 7 months to receive a complete refund? I know you would feel anger, agitated, annoyed, ripped off etc.

you send emails to two or three different emails stating the same exact message...yes thats harrassment. Then you send it in IM form...them you send a message saying, you still owe me money, pay now!! thats what I am talking about. One email is sufficent, even the im was sufficent. but you keep on its getting old.

By saying 50 you obviously know I was being sarcastic. You have 3 emails accounts: [retracted]@comcast.net, [retracted]@comcast.net, [retracted]@comcast.net and no I don't keep track which email is your primary one. Anyways the main important thing is you really need to pay off the rest very soon. 7 months is outrageous. Again put yourself in my shoes, I know for a fact you would be frustrated and pissed if you had to wait 7 months to get your money back.

I know its been a long time but atleast I am trying, how many people dont get funds back you think? All I know is that I know I owe and those emails are starting to get old b/c if I had the money I would have paid you by now. And your emails are not getting me money to pay you any faster are they? So you will get it sometimes in another week or so when I get my pay check.
 
This guy is really getting on my nerves. He thinks hes the only one in the world that has bills to pay.
 
Wesley promised me twice that he will pay the rest on Friday (2/15). But I received nothing (what a surprise). All I get is more lies and lame excuses from him.
 
I would've filed a police report after the second month. That may be your only recourse. $50 isn't worth suing for, but its free to call the police and file a report.

No lies no excuses I just wasnt able to get online to do it yesterday, but I paid him just now via paypal. So he can be happy.I told him once I got my income tax I would pay him up...which I did. No lying just wasnt able to get online yesterday due to me working late and work again today. Deposit didnt come as early in the day as I thought. But its done with.

As I said all along once I got the money I would pay him. Which I did.
 
Your lucky he didn't file a police report against you. A lot of people wouldn't have had the patients to wait that long. It doesn't matter what the excuses are you screwed over yourself and your own reputation. I doubt anyone that sees this topic will trust you.

Agreed ... but

How many trolls never pay back their victims? I am not defending this guy but at least Joe finally got reimbursed. I agree that this seller should make everyone's "Troll" list ...

... but at least he had some semblance of decency to actually pay back what was owed.
 
He paid it back, but after 7 months the OP should have been compensated over and above the original amount if the seller wasn't a troll. The OP basically gave this troll a 7 month loan. This guy is definitely on my DNT list.
