This table looks pretty damn neat in this picture. I just can’t help wondering what that same picture would look like if the table was full of people. Might not be so “neat” with someone literally sitting on your back.
 
Its funny the second I saw the picture I knew it was Belgian I swear to god thats the only outfit belgian women wear. PERIOD. Yeah I know weird thing to recognize.
 
Cool, now I can have half the functionality of a laptop while sitting wayy too close to Belgian hipsters :D
 
Yeah, the table is a space-saver, and a cool design, but the fact is you're going to be extremely uncomfortable sitting there.

- No cushioning (could be added, but will ruin aesthetic).
- No adjustable height, distance or back
 
Wouldn't a spilled Starbuck's coffee look nice on the tablet and white surface? :rolleyes:

I wouldn't want a stranger that close to me, unless her measurements were pleasing! :D

The power and data cables should be in a center support leg over a floor connection point (could also use a center pole to ceiling but that wouldn't look as cool).
 
It's a case of cosmetics over ergonomics but it's a cool design nevertheless, except that cabling seems to be an afterthought, worst electrical job ever.
It would look even cooler with 4 real monitors and real keyboards plugged into a single virtual server that would fit right in the middle.
If the chair legs are not going to walk, I would remove them altogether and have the whole contraption supported by a central rotating pillar:
There is no reason that the user should be forced to face the same view at all times.

Needless to say, since conviviality seems to be the word, the chairs should sport a foldaway seat for guests, and two cup-holders.
Only problem is that each chair has only 2 legs, so when you walk around in the subway with your ipad chair, you'll need to find another similar user.
 
For some of us that get a bit gassy in the morning, this might not favor our popularity rating :)
 
I find it amusing that Belgians designed a table that looks like that from the overhead perspective.
 
damn, no more dropping the pencil to get that "special" view
