I just got in 3 gtx 280's and im having some trouble finding a big enough psu with 3 6 pin and 3 8 pin pcie power cables. can anyone help me. looking to spend around 250-350 if anyone can help. if it is going to cost alittle more then 350 thats ok.

Corsair 1000HX 1000W PSU has every connector you need with 6 x 6+2Pin connectors and it's modular. (The +2 portion is removable so you end up with a 6Pin connector. Leave the +2 portion on and it's a 8Pin connector):
Corsair 1000HX Modular PSU - $225

Is this going to be stable with 3x 280 gtx's,790i ftw board, 5 case fans, 2 optical drives, q9550, watercooling and 3 harddrives?
