But if their TIM print is from test seating they used way too much TIM. TIM is supposed to be used to fill voids where there is not metal to metal contact between CPU IHS and cooler base, not to be a solid layer of TIM between them.
Copper is rated . . . . . . 400 W/m k,
Aluminum is rated . . . . . 200 W/m k
Liquid Ultra TIM is rated . 38.4 W/m k
Normal TIM is rated . . . 3-12 W/m k
