Titanfall PC - $33.78

Yeah. If you want a terrible quality slow eco HDD. A decent 4TB will run you at least ~$175.

Also, I am very sad they require PayPal for this deal. Long story short, PayPal disabled my account after I was paid fraudulently with a credit card for something I sold and continues to lock it until I pay them back the money that they're held liable for. This was three years ago.
I paid 110 for a 4tb internal 7200 rpm 64 mb cache sata3 drive at christmas time.

I also own multiple SSD's lol. Even for ssd's the prices have come down tremendously.

To who asked... it is MUCH more like COD than BF. But it was developed hy the team who left the COD franchise a few years ago.

For those curious, 35 of the 50GB are audio related files (uncompressed audio?). When installing the game a separate installer pops up just for the audio.

So... PC or XB1 ?

This is for pc... #MasterRace... is there anything else to game on?

Just kiddin. I am guessing the community will be larger on xb1... but the game only runs at 792p ... literally. I prefer kb and mouse but to each his own :)

yey, autoaim 7 bots with one clip for $33.78!

Nope

This. And 35GB of uncompressed audio taking up valuable real estate on my SSD. I dont need Chinese/Russian/Japanese/polish/Vietnamese and other languages taking up space because the developer couldn't figure out how to distribute localized audio.

NEVER FRET MY FRIENDS. I have found a solution to all your SDD whining! A magical device that's been around for over 20 years It's called a Hard Disc Drive. Now before you get startled because you're not throwing your hard earned dollars at a storage device that has multiple multiple TB's less I can guarantee that you will still be able to frag with the best of them. For a whopping $100 you can find yourself 3TB of storage. I know right? How can this be? It's must be a miracle! Well it sure isn't neck beards it's time to offload your porn and other garbage that your saving like some sort of hoarder on one of these babies! Or better yet! Buy another SSD!

Seriously people crying because a game's file is too big...... Very [H]ard systems you all have.

Well, I wouldn't pay $60 or $50 for it, but after playing the beta I'm comfortable with the $30-$40 mark. My personal opinion, so take it how you will. I would check out some gameplay vids to see if you can get a feel for it to decide if it's worth it to you, I think it is.

You clearly don't know anything about SSD's

One could try erasing the non-English files, or making them 0 bytes.

Tempted but I'm not sure if I want to risk a future account ban or not... decisions :(

Youd have heard by now if ANYONE got banned. The slickdeals thread has hundreds of replies and no bans. If it were a common thing you'd know about it.

And on top of that this is a region free key/game. You didn't have to use a VPN to purchase it. Those are the people who really risk being banned.

50GB wtf. That will cost me an extra $20 just to download from overages. Might as well just buy retail..

I'm capped at 150GB a month :(

Is the download through Origin because then I don't even think I could download it at work...

The last game I bought retail was Black Ops. I popped the disc in and it immediately opened Steam to start the download. I'm convinced the disc itself never had the game install on it.

His point is that an SSD adds no benifit to the game as it wont get you in the game faster than a user with a HDD

Having to install this on a HDD to conserve SSD space further shows how dated their development of this game is.
Then top that by making users download a whopping 50GB Source Engine game that cripples limited data caps / slow connections in certain areas.

This is why I run two Samsung 830 512 GB in RAID 0 :-D
(none of this "500GB" or "480GB" crap)

A clean install of WIndows 8.1 Update 1, removal of hibernate, etc should help things a bit too.

With the irony being a crapload of gamers don't even have optical drives anymore, since you know, those gamers claimed physical media was dead and there was no way in hell anyone would ever need a optical drive anymore, digital distribution being the end-all-be-all future, yadda yadda...

*hugs his well used Blu-Ray burner that is still relevant* :p

I still stand by that. I don't even like buying physical consoles games. I plan on buying a case that has no optical drive slot at all (when the damn thing is actually in stock at MSRP) even.

While physical media could be nearly dead for games, IPS have been locking down and creating low data caps like mine which is now 150GB a month that I almost always go over. Then I have to pay another $20 a month for each additional 50GB I use. Since just watching youtube and netflix and getting game / system updates usually gets me close, I would essentially be buying this game for $33.78 then paying $20 to transfer it to my PC... ISP's want to bring us back into the internet dark-ages and make physical media relevant again.

I say bring back physical media I'll gladly pay a little extra to have a re-installable Blueray. Then again...All those updates would hurt if you ever had to re-install :)

after i paid with paypal, it sent me back to the website with the key under all the jibberish....

I went ahead and bought the game.

For those of you a little put off by the Russian, I suggest you do a dry run with the site translated to english. Just understand, you will get errors if you try and register this way. Once you understand what the different options do in Russian, it's easy to navigate and make an account, which I might add is extremely easy.

Once you pay, you're code is instantly displayed and you can then go into Origin and redeem the game.

Simple as 1,2,3

Oh, btw ... took less than 5 mins to download the 50gb with Google Fiber. Think the speed was 163MBs or something. Install took 8 - 10 mins.
