Hey guys. Im currently trying to update my pc since its running on an old old platform. Im upgrading slowely but surely. I hope you can can help me out here since im not sure what best anymore lol.


1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Gaming, Multimedia, Webrowsing

2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
I want to stay at around $600-700ish +tax&s/h

3) Which country do you live in? If the U.S, please tell us the state and city if possible.

4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.

Additional Notes:
1) I plan to upgrade my video card in the near future to a 2 card setup. But for now my current card is fine.
2) Im leaning more towards the intel platform since i trust them the most (still using the core 2 quad and its still kicking butt)

Please let me know if you need anymore information. I just registered to the forums so im very new to this.
 
I recommend waiting another month or two until Intel releases their new Haswell CPUs. Since you're gonna have to replace the CPU, mobo, and RAM anyway, might as well get the latest CPU and mobo available.

So please come back in mid-June or July and ask for advice then. That way you'll get the most up-to-date advice and would be able to buy the new Intel Haswell CPUs.
 
Oh ok thanks. Didnt know that intel was coming out with a new gen cpu. Ill definitely post again when they come out.
