The stock sink can easily keep this card cool but the noise level is way to much for me with my system being so close to the living room I would probably drive the wife crazy. I was thinkin about the Thermalright HR-03GT. I had this cooler on my old card and everything fit just fine. I have a side case fan right besdie the card so huge coolers wont fit well if they hang out to far. I was going to stick a 92mm Nexus fan on top and just let it run full speed. What does everyone else plan on doing?

I'm looking at the Accelero S1 rev 2. Cheap and good = win :)
However, my ASUS P5E has the 2nd PCI-e slot on the bottom, so I only have one slot to play with, so the bottom Accelero wouldn't have a fan on it. Not sure how that would work.

That one runs right into my side fan on my case or it sould be the one I would go with. So much cheaper then the thermalright it would have been nice.

I currently have the Accelero on my 4870, but will warn you that you have to cut down one of the heatsinks for the memory to get it to fit. I believe there is a guide somewhere around here with that info. The HR03-GT is labeled as compatible and I used it on a 8800GTS 512 to much success.

I ordered the HR-03 GT and Scythe low speed Kama-Flex 92mm fan. Hopefully now I will have a cool and quiet combo.
