At the suggestion of a few board members here, I may be getting an MX1000, but first I have a few questions:
1) I've read in reviews that the middle mouse button is hard to push. So hard, in fact, that sometimes you will accidentally tilt the wheel instead, like this reviewer said:
2) I know I mentioned it before, but I have a REALLY shiny mouse pad. Is this mouse gauranteed to work with my shiny pad? I would like to use my current pad, as it has a lot of sentimental value to me.
3) How much latency is there? I am VERY picky about this, even the slightest lag is noticeable to me.
Any help is apprerciated guys, I've got $70 at stake here.

Does anyone else experience this?Second, as mentioned before, the middle mouse button is way too difficult to click, often causing me to use the tilt function if I'm not careful. Why didn't they make the middle button soft, and the tilt more resistant? The mind boggles.
