In my old computer right now i have a ATI Radeon 9550 256 MB, but it slacks a bit on games i play such as CS:S.
I was wondering if a nVIDIA 6200OC is better than that card.
Also, i was wondering what cards would be good for my computer that would not over heat or anything. I have AGP 4x/8x slot.

Here are specs:
170 Watt PSU
ATI Radeon 9550 256 MB
1024 gb DDR Ram.
1.7 Ghz Pentium 4 Processor
Dell Motherboard(idk lol)
and thats it...

if your going to be running a newer, faster video card it would be beneficial to upgrade your power supply as well. 170watts just wont cut it, go for something in the 400 range on up.

Yeah you would need probably like at least 2.4. I really don't know, but I play CS:S on a 2.8 and it's okay...then again mines a Celeron ::pUKE:: so my guess is you'd be good with a 2.4.

Also does your mobo support PCI-E?

No my mobo only has AGP.

Also... You think a 6200OC is better than 9550?

somewhat better, but still i think you can get some better proce/performance cards like 6600 or 6800
