Right now I have an OCZ powerstream 420W PSU

It's currently powering a Q6600, 8800GTX, 4GB Ram, 250GB SATA, 1TB Sata, 2x74GB Raptors, mobo, and X-Fi Platinum.

I feel like I'm stretching the PSU a little bit now and I'm also trying to cut back on power usage.

I'm looking at the Antec Earthwatts 500w version for $69.99 from "The Egg"

I was also looking to make this able to handle a newer video card and maybe 8GB of ram at some point. No more then 4 Hard Drives though. I don't do any overclocking anymore.

Any thoughts?

Yes, the Earthwatts is an older design & IMO is over priced much beyond $50/$55.

Your OCZ PowerStream 420W is rated at +12V@30A, so any upgrade needs to be at least +12V@40A.
