Hey, just think of what it would have taken if he hadn't been drinking a bit.

You know he was a bit drunk. Otherwise there is no way he would have allowed himself to be talked into posing as a lawn ornament. Sure it was funny, but look at the results. :p

Looks to me like the moose passed on through and right on out!
Who would tangle with a moose thats all hopped up, gotta be those cannucks...no hockey and all! :D


 
From the article, it looks like he was hopped up on 5 shots (correction 3 shots - Wow Moose are cheap dates!) of Moose Joose®. Hell of a Friday night aye? Hate to say it, but I can identify... passed out in someone's front yard, all wobbly and stuff. I hate it when that happens :D
 
Since AtomicMoose has been an extremely welcome member of the [H] I think we should start collecting recent moose sightings (not droppings) .
Especially if they are showing a moose folded up.
For those who don't know CIWS made this thread dead, then someone opened it back up.
CIWS deleted his comment about killing the thread. I thank him for letting it live.
Now we need more pics of folded moose!

Moose are not normally aggressive; however, they can be very aggressive in winter when they are hungry; tired of walking in deep snow; or harassed by people, dogs, and traffic. Kids and adults sometimes throw snowballs at moose or approach them far too closely for safety. Dogs chase moose out of backyards, and loose dogs bark at them and chase them. Moose consider dogs to be their enemies and will sometimes go out of their way to kick at one, even if the dog is on a leash or in a fenced yard. Give moose an extremely wide berth if you have a dog with you and don't let your dog chase a moose. When moose are on a road, driveway, or trail or when they are lying under a deck or up against a house, they are often trying to rest. When people repeatedly approach them closely or chase them away, moose become stressed. Each moose has a different breaking point, but if they are harassed enough, many moose will act aggressively.


Moral of the story: It's not easy being a moose, but you can kick some butt if you need to. I wonder, usually our favorite moose is calm, or is he hiding that he's about to reach the "breaking point"?

I think “rutting” season is the really dangerous time, or so the Discovery channel says. :D
