Shiny new cooler from Thermaltake. Says to be on par or better than the Typhoon. Won't be out for a month or two.

Almost looks like they are trying to mate the two best air coolers around, Zalman's 9700 and Tuniq's Tower 120, into one Thermaltake Super-cooler.

There's another cooler coming out too but I cant talk about that one... According to tests by Thermaltake, it's better that the Typhoon. We'll have to see when it comes out.

without a shroud around the fan i would think most/alot of the airflow would be wasted out the top, i dunno if thats how they planed it or not. if they had a centricical fan that pushed out the top and drew in from the sides that might do some good but you would need some sort of cowling for direction of airflow.

Looks like a Sonic tower had sex with a Zalman CNPS9500.

The main problem I see is that the fan isn't swappable. If it was, I'd be over it like a fat kid with chocolate.

Oh God...Look at the retention clips.

"Shudders"

I hate those intel LGA 775 clips T_T
All the twisting and..omg..i get so frustrated using them. Worst part is is when they use them on larger heatsinks, like the ninja and then the chipset heatsink is right next to it.
Why can't they just use screws?

Why is it "on par or better" than the Typhoon... They shouda set their sights on the tuniq...

They actually set their sights on Zalman's 9700. But we will have to see how it does. No one knows exact performance results and factory testing (which is not true real life testing) says it beats the 9700. I call BS though.

Interesting cooler. Push pin clips gotta go, but I wouldn't mind testing one out.
