Has anyone seen Thermaltake's new Shark case? While not overly fond of their cases (save the Tsunami), I think this one may be a keeper. Thoughts? Cutting edge or cheesy?

Cheesy....I wouldn't buy from them anyways. Their customer support sucks.

Dont like it. The only case from TT I find acceptable is the Tsunami, and I own one ;)

fugly.. agreed.. i hate when they put a 120mm fan up front w/ like 3 x 2mm holes to "improve airflow"

Funny you say that. Our old supplier for ThermalTake told us that they had quit carrying Tt because "They have good products, but are bad at running a business."

every thermaltake product that comes out is uglyier than the last one. And the shark is the ugliest case i have ever seen. no a keeper

Yes I do have one and that is how I learned that their customer support sucks. Which is why I would not buy from them.

I'd pass, but that's just IMHO.

I like simple clean cases. I.E. coolermaster/lili/something that i've made.

I should've went with a Lian-Li instead of my Tsunami, only because it has more space, probably better manuals, better customer support, etc...

Don't get me wrong, I still love my case, but there's a few things that should've been prioritized.

I wish, but all the wires are already in, and I don't think Newegg would take this case that came in perfect condition, but easily broke with regular use (the door ajar alarm thing, for example, had the braces broken because they obviously break easily).

Next rig update I'll do I'll be sure to get a Lian Li next time, though, I know it's not going to be another Thermaltake though. So many times I've e-mailed their support thing and not one response yet. I didn't even want to try their phone service.

If you were to replace the craptastic plastic front and a diff side window it could be a decent case. But why buy that one when there are others that dont need that. I hate these plastic butt ugly front and side panels that are getting more common on mainstream cases now. Those "armour" ones are a prime example..they look like a transformer threw up on them.

I was under the impression that it was an aluminum front. Either way, I'm with you. I don't care for the plastic either.

I'm pretty sure its aluminum. Every TT case I have seen has a heavy aluminum door.

Read = "The front drive bay door doubles as armor plating for your galaxy class starship"

Not too bad. I wouldn't get one, but at least it's not ass-ugly like most premods.

aluminum, plastic, dosnt really matter which when it all looks like ass.

The only thing I don't like about the case is the front bezel. Other than that, it's a nice case.

Cheesy? Ugly?! How can you guys say this?! IT has an EMI shield honecomb side panel omg roffl lol!!!!!!11one

Thermaltake is truly the industry's leader at making craptacular cases. They just get worse and worse.

Looks interesting at first, then it started to look ugly the more I look at it...

As ugly as they are... I'd love to look at some of TT's sales numbers compared to other manufacturers... I know one thing tho, I sure see a ton more xaser-like TT cases at the local mom & shop stores here than I see equally priced (online anyway) CMs, Kingwins, Silverstones, or Lian Lis.

lol you shouldnt even ask, if it says TT on it the sheep are gonna bash it, i bet if you put a little green lian-li badge on the case , they would be wow thats the greatest thing since sliced bread.

if you like the case buy it for you, your the one that has to live with your purchase.

thats my 2 cents =o)

In my point of view.. that case looks better then the other ones they put out.. but I still wouldn't be caught buying it .

I'm curious as to what you need from the manual for your CASE?
