Thermal Tape (Recommendations)

Is thermal grease not an option here?

Edit: I've never had to use some tape before so I'm not sure. Nice link though.
 
I don't think thermal grease would work since I can see a significant gap. I'll be using thermal grease on the gpu itself though.

I know you can find this stuff cheap on ebay. Sadly i dont have the links anymore to the seller or name of the stuff to search. Im sure someone else knows better than I do.
 
I remember Sekisui 5760 being pretty good.. I bet 3m makes some decent stuff too. I've used EK Waterblocks thermal pads (they have different thicknesses which is nice) with success as well. I'm sure what you linked is fine too... I don't know of any real comparisons between them but would be interested to see one if anyone else does.

I've used 3M's thermal tape - not very good. Would stay away like the plague.
 
Ooh those EK pads with diff thickness looks like a nice alternative.
