I don't fully understand Trusted Computing, but I don't think I support it. Is it true that all motherboards are coming with an ominous Trusted Computing chip these days? If so, is it a concern? It seems like Vista's prepared to utilize TC...

I am a noob in this area but in Unix trusted computing was a hardware and software way to make sure your computer and computers you were exchanging information with were who you thought they were.

IMO, You should be more concerned with DRM, digital rights management, which will cripple your ability to make legimate copies of content you already paid for.
