I would hope that in that case they would also port the a3d 2.0 part to a modern api (e.g. steam audio). Nowadays one has to be content with running those a3d games with the inferior eax (when running on modern hardware, via openal).

Yes, very good remastered version.
Of course, game back then was great, nowadays it may feel a bit outdated by being linear an not as story complex as new games but definitely worth to try.
