The Sinking City

Well the drama continues and I also now got screwed on the Steam version and I am pretty pissed off about it. I already had the Epic version but could not get the DLC so I had bought the game on Steam which had all the DLC but today Steam had a patch for the game that removed all the goddamn dlc and I cant even continue playing since it messed up the saves. So I lost all my DLC and all my goddamn progress.
 
That sucks bigt time I wonder if you can transfer your Epic save to Steam.

Luckily there was a fix posted by someone on the steam forums involving 3 files that restore the DLC and saves.

The new version is out now on Steam, and it's also now available on GOG. It's on sale for a 70% discount on GOG. The Deluxe Edition includes all the DLC for $18.46. No comparable sale on Steam at the moment. That may change at the daily store update (14:00 EST).

I gave up a while back on them getting the pc situation fixed and bought the Xbox Deluxe version for 10 bucks.
 
I played through the PS5 version. It's tedious and I had to farm items, it felt unfinished imo. I wonder if they fixed it? Cool concept, kinda shitty execution but I know it was tied up in legal shit for a while. The best part of the game is telling a KKK grand wizard to go fuck himself and then make him eat a bullet, it was like the end scene to Unforgiven.

It actually runs way smoother than the original version. I don't think the visuals justify the performance cost though. And good grief, the stubble on the characters faces is just laughable.
 
The first screenshot looks like washed out image cranked up in a early LCD BenQ monitor like they made that way on purpose.

and this is the problem with the world. they are games....People should be free to make any game they want. If someone wants to make slave simulator 1850s they should be allowed to. If someone makes a game set in the past they should be free to have it historically accurate if they want to.

Warning labels on movies and games ECT is so stupid. Like we are fine with games we kill people all day but god forbid someone throws an Irish slur around or some other racial Injustice......

This is a really cool game the exploration and investigation is better than Resident Evil series and Alan Wake. I solved the 1st case and this is the 2nd area in the screenshot playing the upgraded version of the game.
