Well, ya made me go out and buy this game :D

Just wondering, first off, this game is Direct3d right?

Secondly, does this look like its running at 1024x768 all settings maxed with 4xAA and 8xAF?

^^ :( not really... I play on 1280*1024 and it looks so much nicer...

edit: I recall hearing about tha tgame having issues with the 9600's some people were not even able to get it working though.... so it's not a total loss... it's a great game, enjoy :D

Well, im on my 9800pro. DO you mean 1280x960? I dont see any 1280x1024

either way it was the max res my monitors would support
 
Yeah same. Im gonna try it out later tonight. What vidcard were you using? Did you ever notice slight bits of lag? Because at certain points I have.
 
I have a 9800 pro...but to be honest I think it worked a little better back with my Ti4200... still always playable, but sometiems I think the volumetric type smoke and what not really chugged it up, mind you I never really cranked the AA/AF so I never get any real noticeable slow downs

Yes, it does look damn awesome. I believe it's IL-2 Forgotten Battles... I saw it today at Gamestop for only fifteen bucks, I almost picked it up.

that scope on the mp5 is the most obtrusive thing I've ever seen. What a waste of FOV. Is aztec all there is in the way of maps right now? Can you get a nicer brighter picture with possibly some character models.

Yeah that gun is from fragops when you buy a modded mp5 unlike the boring guns in CS that u can't change....

I didn't mean to skin them as put on a scope thats not functional don't count. You CAN in fragops. Buy a fuctional silencer, scope, etc. for most guns. And recoil in fragops = wow compared to cs...

The CS:S was a joke people, chill out :) Its a mod for frag ops which is 100x better than CS, and the graphics look better than CS:S :D
 
hmm, does that mean that we will be seeing marine/demon boxing matches in doom3?
I wonder if hellknights are succeptible to low blows? :D
