The Official Test Your Badge Thread

Edit: Didn't realize that inserting it via bookmark would submit it for me... i'll have to remember that on. ;)

Only finished my first WU last night...now I've got one that's going to take 380 hours (mind you I've got a few things open at the moment...) for 50(ish) points. >.<

Testing badge on my laptop as desktop got zapped by storm-related power outage. Down and out. :(

Don't do the big-packets if you're after quick points

First badge post. It was kind of weird that it submitted the whole post when I inserted it from a bookmark.

How can I edit the bookmark so that it will add the image to the next line, and not directly behind my last typed letter?

I modified mine so that instead of
javascript:document.vbform.message.value=document.vbform.message.value + ' [ URL=http://www.....

it's

javascript:document.vbform.message.value=document.vbform.message.value + '\n\n[ URL=http://www....

In other words, I replaced the space right before the URL tag with two "\n"s over ^^^^^^ here. Does that make sense?

I got it! Thanks, I wonder why this not included by default. It would make everyone's life a little easier.

its still not workign right, but i have moved on :) i will just go to the site when i want to know where i stand :)

Anyone know why the code displays? This is a direct cut and paste from the Stats page.

K

javascript:document.vbform.message.value=document.vbform.message.value + ' '; document.vbform.submit(); halt;

Instead of copy+paste in the message body, you can:
1) paste it in the address bar of your browser and hit enter, or
2) create a bookmark and put that code as the 'address', and go to that bookmark. Your bookmark toolbar is a good place to put this bookmark.
