Are you typing your responses in quick reply or in the full fledged reply? It doesn't work with quick reply.

 
Technically, it should also work with Quick Reply ;)

Doesn't matter, I don't think (this is the Quick Reply, FWIW) - when I hit the toolbar button, it just creates a blank post on the thread, then I have to go back and edit the post...
 
testing again... maybe get some text in this time and it doesn't mysteriously vanish...

Yep, but I think it's because the stats are being updated ATM?
