GPUGRID has release (limited supply at first?) application 6.62 which has much lower cpu usage. 3-6% versus the 6.61 app at about 60-80% cpu usage.
This is great news for us that run cpu projects at the same time as our GPUGRID units.
 
I am pleased to announce that our team for Seventeen or Bust - Sieve is now producing numbers. Please add this to the list and go ahead and put me down as the coordinator. I am working on PSP-Sieve next, we should have this team formed soon. I already have factors to report.

I turned one in but havn't seen it show up in my SOB stats or anywhere. I think it has to show up in my SOB user stats so I can join a team? or does it use the team I've joined in the SOB non-sieve projects?

With SoB, the - Sieve import page uses your non-sieve SoB account/team info so you have to make sure you are logged in before you do the import. Do you recall what the import said after you did it? It might have been a PSP-Sieve factor and not a SoB factor. See my recent post in the DC-Vault thread.

It said that it recieved it fine and I was logged in but I havn't posted it to http://www.psp-project.de/sieveimport.php since I don't have a user name there yet.

Thats what I didn't do, I didn't edit my ranges and give the results there and mark it finished.

For anyone who has started a team recently, please make sure that it's included in the first post. Everything that I can think of that was close to the dates we lost posts is there, but I'd hate to rely on only my memory. :D

Added OGR-27 and moved OGR-26 to the retired section. Also updated DNet projects with team number and mfl0p as the contact.

Added XXX/Test Project. Again, every time I think I come across a new project, Razor_FX_II was already there. :D

The team number for XXX/Test Project is listed incorrectly it should be team (291)

That would depend on their server status. Apparently when all is right, we're team #291, and I don't exist. When there's a database error (which is quite often today at least), we're team #556, you're a new user in the last day (I'm not) even though you signed up 3 months ago, and I'm there.

Apparently the tests aren't going so well. :D

ok. That doesn't sound good for the Test Server. LOL
I got some cuda apps out of it tonight that seem to go well, there just very small and worth 1 point but at least they have a cuda app that can be used for testing now.

Like brother Xilikon posted earlier in this thread, I had no ideer there were so many projects out there :eek: It looks mighty intimidating and kinda' hopeless for someone with only a couple of boxen DCing 24/7:confused: I think what I'm a' gonna' do is just stick with the F@H GPU2 project (try going WinSMP for the CC) and the fighting Aids, fighting Cancer (both adult and childhood) and finding new materials for Clean Energy ;) I was gonna' do the "Denque Drugs" thing, but I'm not too sure I know what a Denque is. (maybe it's a terrorist or a posionous critter of some kind, only kiddin' :rolleyes:)

Really, the beauty of the BOINC client is that if you wanted to try another BOINC project or two out, you can just add it to the BOINC manager, and it's seamless! - You can even tell the manager to spend 80% of it's time on WCG, and spread the remaining 20% out however you like (for example). Even with all the fun I have with 20 BOINC projects, I think my WCG points are still almost double my next closest project... Trying to stay loyal to the [H]orde's priorities while still having fun as a Commando :D
