Yes it is but i going to buy a new cooler damn thing gets hot between 70c-80c when playing GTA SA, bet on solder demo,and alitte hot on cssource. thinking of buying the new zalman gpu cooler with blue led.

I was thinking of getting the same cooler, as I have the same card as you and have the same heat issue; tell me if the Zalman improves it.

Nah, I still use them, they aren't my old cards... I play Quake 3 and Diablo II on them.

The first picture if you look close, the bottom GPU has bent pins, the second picture is a set of STB Voodoo 2 12mb cards :)

Very nice indeed, btw its kinda good that u can have ur heatsink on the card even if u got ur maze4 there ;)

whatcha mean man? the 7800 isnt in sections like the 68's were? cuz like it was in multi sections: the copper core gpu hs, then the aluminium pat you see i have there on the ram, then the fan and shroud then the cover with manufacturer logo.....

i would assume its still separatble, and if it is and thats not hte issue i can tell you teh lil pins on the ramsinks are longer on this card than they are on the 78 so you should be fine.

oh and then there is the fact that you have a 7800gtx therefore you should be wishin NOTHING about my stuff. vice versa.
 
Finally....something new and sexy for my rig. I was sick as Hell today, but I still managed to get her fired up and I'm still testing her limits. Not a bad card, but she artifacts 490MHz on the core in 3DMark05...so I may step-up to a KO ACS3/7800 Ultra in the next 3 months, depending if my StatisThermal cooler will stablize that corespeed. Either way it's not a huge deal....this card is so fast at it's stock speeds it's absolutely rediculous. Anyway, less jibberjabber more pics!

I have that same card... one helluva good card imo. OC's like a beast on stock cooling. :)

Nah, it just so happened I lost my hand the other day, so the timing from eVGA was perfect; best customer service ever. Although, I need to give it a slight tan to match my skin-tone. ;)

Already did. I took the pics and then cleaned the damn thing and installed. Didn't feel like taking pics again :p.

I milled off 4 fins on one side so it'll clear the PCIe slot. Already drilled out the 4 bottom holes.. All I have left to do is tap them with M2.5, and get some M2.5 screws...

how much cooler you think it'll be with a 70mm fan cooling it?? :D
