so this thing just cools the CPU rite? CM said its pretty quiet, i dont believe advertisements too much, is it really quiet by [H] standards? for 200 bucks you can get started on a water cooling setup for your whole rig, kind of $$ isnt it?
very quiet, even on high speed, after i swapped out the stock fan for an aluminum evercool one, and aye it was a bit pricey but thats my stock machine and i just wanted something clean looking on the inside that didnt take up a bunch of room, i got it on clearance from zipzoom for like 160. its quiet looks nice and performs good

I too have a Cooler Master Stacker. It does look like ass without the right drives in it. As far as your cabling goes, I've seen better and I've seen worse. It's not that bad. The biggest issue is that none of your drives or devices in your drive bays match the case at all.

I have another question, Why did you mount the power supply in the bottom instead of the top? You've got that structual support cage and bracket up there. If you put your PSU in there it would clean things up quite a bit.

What is the big deal with the CM stacker? What are it's features, and how much does it cost?

The Stacker is large. It has a steel frame and brushed aluminum exterior and the interior of course is large enough for a dual Opteron or Xeon rig and then some. Also it is BTX, EATX, and ATX compliant. It has room and mounts for two power supplies and has the PSU switch stuff to make them both startup together. The drives bays are all mesh grills so that air flows through there more easily.

It has 11 5 1/4 bays and a 3 for 4 drive cage that is used to mount 3.5 inch drives. It mounts for and cools them with a 120mm fan.

Check out coolermaster's website for more specifics, but the layout is second to NONE. There are only two complaints you can make about this case aside from the asthetics which are all a matter of taste and opinion. The complaints are 1.) that it's very heavy and 2.) that it is too large.

No case inside has a more sensible or simpler layout. The case is a joy to work with. I got mine for $136 but they average around $160-180ish.

Again Great JOB!

If you keep your eyes peeled you can pick one up for around $150. If you add the optional window side panel and cross flow motherboard fan your looking at about $200-$210. Not to bad. I really think its a great looking case. Plus, being so big its super easy to work with. Airflow is also excellant. Those are the main reasons I picked one up. Downsides:  really heavy  . Also, if you dont have a whole lot of room at your workstation it might be hard to find a conveinent place to put it. I had to modify my desk to get it to fit underneath.

He made the window himself and he has it installed in that picture.

I am going to start Moding my Coolermaster stacker as soon as I get back into my house.

All these picks have given me some great IDEAS!!

I just bought my new CM STACKER!
LOVE IT!
Got the clear side window and the cross flow fan also!

Could that cooler master be used with the Vapochill LS? say if I cut a hole in the bottom of it?

I just started moding my Stacker and after instaling my X850XT-PE, I knew I needed to find a way to be able to see it, but how... So I went out and bought a sheet of mirror and cut out a rectangle the same size as the bottom of my case and VIOLA, You get the nice view of the MB and GFX card. Not to mention the various blue fans I have light up that case like mad!

PICS COMING SOON!

Updated my Praetorian a good bit. Spent several hours cleaning up the wiring, added a custom made side panel, added four UV Lazer LEDs and replaced the front intake grill.
